LIVING THINGS "Let It Rain"

Here's the new Living Things video for "Let It Rain", by Floria Sigismondi. It's a simple, slick looking black & white performance video. Before I watched it for myself, I asked my boss how it was, and she said "It's Floria. Nothing she does can ever look bad!".
Is she ever right!!

"Cult Of Cherry"

Oh, Floria. You are a weirdo, and one of my biggest inspirations in life. Thank you for continuing to share your visions and geniuses with the world.

This is an ad/short that Floria did for the launch of MAC Cosmetic's line of makeup called "Cult Of Cherry". My eyeballs can barely handle the greatness of how this looks visually. Also, it makes me really want to eat a slice of pie.

METALLICA "All Nightmare Long"

The piece is a 9-minute long narrative that uses four decades worth of 'lost' Soviet footage to uncover a conspiracy of epic proportions. A mysterious organism found in the 1930s at Tunguska appears to have healing powers that will bring an end to death. But by the opening of The Cold War, the organism's corpse-reviving properties are reinvented as a means of closing the gap between the USSR and a newly nuclear-endowed USA: Airborne spore attacks, zombie uprisings, and corpse disposing robots are all bit players in this complicated and epic plot.

DIVINE BROWN "Meet Me At The Roxy" (director's cut)

Divine Brown and her backup singers are the true heartbeat to this video - belting out an insanely catchy throwback-like song, while everyone dances the whole night through. Check out some of the sweet dance moves too. Pretty rad!

JACK'S MANNEQUIN "The Resolution"

I just realized today that the singer of Jack's Mannequin is the old singer for Something Corporate. Interesting...

The concept for their new video was thought up by Stephanie Meyer (author of the Twilight book series) and executed with the talents of Noble Jones. The video sees frontman Andrew McMahon falling deeper in love with an unobtainable mermaid.

JACK WHITE & ALICIA KEYS "Another Way To Die"

Here's the video for the theme song to the new James Bond: Quantum of Solace. Directed by P.R. Brown, and post work done by the talented MK12 in Paris. Contrary to popular beliefs on various video blogs, Jack White and Alicia Keys were in fact shot together, at the same time, in the same studio! :O!

FEIST "Honey Honey"

The long-awaited new video of Feist's single Honey Honey, shot in Calgary last March with the Old Trout Puppet Workshop, was finally premiered on Much More Music, on Monday. The video parallels the wistful melancholy of Feist's song with the visual telling of a fairytale-like story about an old fisherman and his wife, who paces her lighthouse home when he is late for his supper. He is caught in the doldrums, and becomes the hapless target of a monstrous fish.

BRAZILIAN GIRLS "Good Time"

Shot in Brooklyn, NY, Graydon Sheppard directed this fun, colourful, loving video for Brazilian Girls. The track is called 'Good Time' and that's what it is - bike riding in the sun, balloons, jump rope...then the good times continue, when Brazilian Girls get a warm welcome to a rooftop party with all of their friends! Funzo!

Update!

Hi!

Sorry it's been so long since the last update. A lot going on at Revolver, including tons of acceptances into various music video and animation festivals, constant productions, and even a hopeful submission into Sundance (fingers crossed!)

We are currently in production of music videos for Divine Brown, Matt Mays and The Pack AD. We also just shot last weekend for Lemar; a critically acclaimed R&B singer from the UK, as well as a HUGE shoot 2 weeks ago with Jack White & Alicia Keys - performing the theme song for the new Bond movie. Check back for that in the next few weeks, as it's sure to be amazing!!
