Not only are The Used finally back with a new album, due out May 22nd, they also have an amazing new video for the first single "The Bird and the Worm". Lisa Mann does a fantastic job creating bizarre hallucinations, as well as the sense of isolation, paranoia, and insomnia that singer, Bert McCracken endures. Completely imaginative and nothing like any other video that's out right now.

''Born to Run' reminds me a lot of the committee meetings from Star Wars: Episode III. A fun talent-show like video, complete with K-OS performing on a revolving stage, and the girls from Magneta Lane posing as his backup band. The audience is stiff and bored during the performance, except for one energetic girl who can't resist not dancing to the catchy song.

Jim Cuddy joins forces with Kathleen Edwards for the upbeat, quirky duet "Married Again". the video, directed by Lisa Mann follows the make-up/break-up love affrair of characters Yvonne & Donovan. the home-movie wedding shots gives a sweet and innocent look into their relationship, but later on captures their reunion after the break-up in a sleezy 'love' motel, at another attempt to re-kindling their love. a really great, funny video.

Appropriately filmed at an authentic swinger's club, Dragonette's new video for 'I Get Around' follows lead-singer Martina Sorbara through the club, as she plays the part of a very promiscuous party girl. this sexually charged video is matched perfectly with a ridiculously catchy pop song about one-night-stands and past lovers. good combo.

MATES OF STATE "Like U Crazy"

Mates of State are an indie rock, husband & wife duo from san francisco, california. "Like U Crazy" was released in spetember 2006, directed by Roboshobo. the video features a cabaret-style performance of the band playing, as a tragic lunar disaster unfolds. Robo. did a great job capturing a very titanic-esq, almost film noir type feel. excellent.

Robert Randolph & the Family Band's new dynamic performance video was shot mid-January in Los Angeles, CA. in true Noble Jones styles, there's a lot of beautifully lite shots, and interesting movement (from people and camera) throughout the video. "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That" has been getting a lot of attention over the past few weeks, with it synced with NBC's comedy programming ads...hopefully the video garners as much attention too!

INTERPOL "Evil"

Good news!!
Charlie White has been added to our roster of amazing directors! he specializes in meticulously planned, digitally manipulated photos that sometimes feature monster puppets interacting with humans. this puppet in particular was made just for Interpol's 'Evil' video. the video shows the aftermath of a horrible car crash and its effects on a strangely lifelike, shell-shocked puppet who busts some dance moves on a gurney. it's pretty creepy looking, but cleverly done.
